In early 2000 french Mark Are comes to Saint-Petersburg with two bags: one of them keeps the money, the other one – pieces of the Berlin Wall. Mark buys a shared apartment from Elena Verkhovskaya, whose family has been living there before revolution, and turns it not merely into his house, but into the magnet place for St. Petersburg musicians and artists. Mark decides to give each of them one square meter of his apartment as a gift. The story about not ordinary person, ordinary communal apartment and the whole epoch in «The walls» film.

This is a film about the village with a poetic name Svetlana; it is two hours away from St.Petersburg. It was built more than twenty-five years ago by volunteers for people with physical and mental disabilities, doomed to specialized closed-type psychoneurological institutions. Many of them couldn't put two words together before they got to the village; they sat under lock and key.

In Svetlana, people avoid the words "disabled" or "unhealthy", preferring to call such people "folk". They are not engaged in miraculous healing and specific training; the diagnosis is not important here. Here folk have conditions for a normal human life. Healthy and unhealthy people communicate on equal terms, work together, put on performances, and run a joint household. People with disabilities do not feel as if they are sick or damaged. Everyone is equal here.

It took us 13 years to make this film.

The film was awarded with "Bronze Mercury" at the 1^st Documentary and Television film festival "Constellation of creators" in "Our achievements" nomination.

The film tells about several farmers- enthusiasts in Russia who have chosen for their farming (animal production, crop production, wine production) careful attitude to the nature based on subsistence farming without using herbicide and pesticide, bio and eco production. Interviewees shares their everyday problems.

The event was supported by the Ministry of culture of Russian Federation and the Ministry of culture of the Republic of South Ossetia and was hold from 9 to 16 September of 2016.

The program was contained popular Russian feature films released in 2015-2016. Such event was hold for the first time on the territory of South Ossetia and was one of the most expected culture events of the year. All screenings were hold in the state film-concert hall "Chermen" in Tzkhinval.

In terms of the Russian cinema year there were organized screenings of 5 national films from the top 100 best feature film for pupils. Each screening was followed by video lecture from "100 lectures for pupils".
